JAMIE L. HUMMELL, LPCMH

Delaware Licensed Therapist
Jamie opened Tranquility Counseling in April 2005 as a solo practitioner. She graduated with a Bachelor's degree in Psychology from West Chester University in 1999 and earned a Master's degree from Wilmington College in 2002. She has since completed a Certificate in Clinical Mental Health program as well as several additional trainings. In 2004 she became nationally certified and was state licensed as a Licensed Professional Counselor of Mental Health(LPCMH) in 2005. Jamie served as the President of the Delaware Mental Health Counselors Association (DMHCA) from July 2008 to 2010. In addition she served on the Board of Directors for Brandywine Counseling for two years. Jamie believes in having clients actively engaged in their treatment, both during and outside of their sessions. She follows a Mind/Body Holistic approach to wellness. Her focus is on women's issues as well as helping clients acheive work/life balance. She has a strong interest in working with victims of trauma. Her personal interests include spending time with family and friends, photography, crafts, baking, nature hikes, movies and reading. She is also a mother to two beautiful girls.
Isadora Girardi, NCC
Master's seeking Therapist
Isadora received her Bachelor of Science in Neuroscience, as well as a Bachelor of Arts in Spanish Literature from the University of Delaware. She is currently finishing her master's degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Austin Peay State University, in Tennessee. Her experiences include working for the Department of Children's Services in Nashville, TN, as well as working as a substance abuse counselor at an in-patient rehab facility, where she ran psychotherapy group sessions. She also has some experience with children, adolescents, adults, and she is open to any population. Some of her interests include working with anxiety, depression, substance use, self-esteem, life transitions, adjustment issues, work/life boundaries, and others. During sessions, her goal is to provide a safe space where clients can process through experiences, emotions, and explore how these changes or experiences have had an impact on their life, while working together to identify goals for their therapeutic journey. Isadora uses a combination of CBT skills, person-centered, and solution-focused techniques. She believes that the client is the expert of their own life and are able to achieve their own goals. Her ultimate goal is for clients to be able to go out on their own and have the skills necessary to cope with the challenges that come with everyday life, thus she often provides clients with psychoeducation. Her personal interests include spending time with friends, loved ones, and her silver lab. She often finds herself hiking through parks, binge watching TV shows, trying out new restaurants, or enjoying quiet evenings at home.
Kelli Bruzik, LCSW
Licensed Clinical Social Worker
Kelli graduated with her bachelor’s degree in Social Work from the University of Pittsburgh in 2003 and worked in child welfare in both Pennsylvania and Delaware for 8 years. In 2009, Kelli completed her master’s degree in Clinical Social Work from Widener University. Prior to outpatient therapy, Kelli provided therapy to parents and their children in foster care and was a mobile therapist for children and youth. Kelli also worked on a SAMHSA grant for the State of Delaware and was the program coordinator for a mobile therapy program focused on providing strengths based, family driven and community-based services for children and youth. She has received training in Crisis Intervention & Stress Management, Mindfulness and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy. Kelli believes that everyone’s voice deserves to be heard, their concerns addressed, and their strengths built upon. When this happens in conjunction with evidence based therapeutic interventions guided by the individual needs of the client, all people can be successful. Kelli has been a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in Delaware since 2014.
ANITA DELANEY, LPCMH, CADC
Licensed Therapist and Certified Alcohol and Drug Counselor
Anita obtained her Bachelor’s degree in education from Point Park College in Pittsburgh, PA; she
enjoyed being an elementary school and pre-school teacher. She earned a Master’s degree from
Wilmington, University in 1999. Her experience includes being a drug and alcohol counselor at an
inpatient treatment facility where she also facilitated group sessions. She worked with patients with
dual diagnosis disorders (combined mental heath and substance abuse disorders). She is an advocate of
the 12 Step program of recovery and believes it is an effective tool for change. Her counseling
experience also includes working at a family services agency. She worked with children, adolescents,
adults, and families with many presenting issues. She facilitated parent education classes, depression
and stress management groups, and groups for children of divorced families. Anita’s approach to
counseling and healing includes focusing on physical/emotional/spiritual wellness. She is a strong
advocate of using journaling as a tool for healing and self-discovery. She believes that yoga and
mindfulness are a means of finding life balance. Her personal interests include spending time with family
and friends, relaxing at the beach, enjoying walks in nature, journaling, and reading. Anita has been a
member of the American Counseling Association since 1999. She has enjoyed working at Tranquility
Counseling since 2010.
LISA TURNER-PORTER, LPCMH
Licensed Professional Counselor
Lisa N. Turner Porter received her undergraduate degree in Psychology from Widener University. She worked in the corporate arena for 15+ years before deciding to pursue a career in counseling. Lisa graduated from Wilmington University (formerly College) with a Master's in Community Counseling. She is a National Board Certified Counselor.
Kimberley Colgan, LPCMH
Licensed Professional Counselor
Kimberley Colgan MS, LPCMH, NCC holds a Master of Science degree in Counseling and Educational Psychology from West Chester University and a Bachelor of Science degree in Communication from Towson University. Kimberley has worked in a variety of mental health settings, including community-based treatment, school-based crisis intervention, and group practice. She believes in a mind-body approach to healing and harmony through empathy, understanding, and encouragement. Kimberley enjoys trail running, hiking, traveling, and spending time with her family.
MICHAEL VINCENT, LPCMH
Licensed Professional Counselor
Michael has worked in the mental health field for nearly 15 years providing services for all age ranges to those having experienced a variety of universal impairments affecting thought processes. Michael received his Bachelor’s degree in Behavioral Science, with a minor in Criminal Justice in 2003. Subsequently, he moved on to study psychology more in depth, graduating with his Masters Degree in Community Counseling in 2007. Michael has worked in diverse environments, providing services for individuals within an array of different settings, including the following: Adult Prison Systems, Level 4 & 5 facilities for adjudicated youth, outpatient substance abuse facilities, and community centers. In addition, he’s primarily employed by the State of Delaware, where he delivers early intervention services for elementary aged children and their families within the Brandywine School District. Michael has received advanced trainings on PTSD and is credentialed as a National Board of Certified Counselor, along with being a Licensed Professional Counselor of Mental Health. Michael utilizes an eclectic approach when counseling while incorporating motivational tactics and improving cognitive behavior functioning.
